As always, 10% of Heart for the House giving will be sown into local outreach, global missions, and church planting initiatives. In this season, a special focus will be placed on supporting our very own Oceans Karratha church plant as it continues to establish and grow.

Perth has successfully moved into its permanent leased facility, but there is still work to be done. Priorities include improved accessibility through ramps and disability-accessible amenities, acoustic treatments, production upgrades, and supporting the ongoing rental costs associated with the facility.

While the current project budget provides for a fantastic new indoor facility, there are still opportunities to enhance the experience for our children and families. Future aspirations include a purpose-built indoor playground, upgrades to the outdoor play area, and additional equipment to support our kids worship teams and programs.

With the Albany Kids facility nearing completion, our building deposit fully paid, and major construction milestones achieved, rebuilding a healthy cash reserve is now one of our highest priorities. This will strengthen our ability to respond to future opportunities and challenges with confidence.

Reducing debt remains an important strategic goal. Every step towards a stronger balance sheet increases our future capacity for ministry, church planting, and missions. As we continue to strengthen our operational budgets, we hope to reduce our reliance on Heart for the House giving for recurring expenses such as rent and mortgage commitments.

We will continue investing in smaller-scale projects that strengthen ministry effectiveness across our locations. These include revisiting opening up a second road entrance to Albany, and improvements to signage, production systems, and livestream capabilities. These investments have a direct missional impact - for example, Albany's livestream has played a significant role in supporting Oceans Karratha throughout its launch phase, helping establish a new church community in regional Western Australia.

Oceans Karratha has already exceeded many of our early expectations, with growing attendance, a strong launch team, vibrant kids and youth ministries, and an emerging culture of generosity. As we move beyond launch, our focus is on establishing a healthy, sustainable, and impactful church that will serve the people of Karratha for many years to come. We remain committed to investing people, resources, and finances into this exciting new community as it continues to grow and flourish.
